Cottage Weekend!
This weekend we took Nate to the cottage for his first real trip to the beach. He had been once before, in October for Thanksgiving, but that doesn't really count as a cottage weekend. My parents and grandparents were up as well, so it was a fun family weekend.

Yes, it was a great weekend at the cottage. I know Nate loved sitting on the sand and having the water lap at his feet. NEXT summer I will teach him how to build suger-collosal sand castles, complete with moats, bridges, dungeons, and feather adornments. We will go treasure hunting along the beach and use all of our "great finds" to add to our castle. "Thank you, Nate, for making me look at the beach through your laughing eyes...I had so-o-o-o much fun with you. Glad you liked your new porch swing too."
