Walking and Watermelon

Nate is walking!! He's been cruising for a while, and last weekend he took his first unassisted steps, but this week he has mastered walking on his own! We have also figured out that Nate LOVES watermelon! Considering we are struggling to find finger foods he likes (and doesn't spit across the room) we are very happy about this. Tonight (thanks to Mario's cousins Miguel and Becky) we also learned that he likes alfredo! So its cheerios, watermelon and pasta alfredo right now for our little bug. Oh, and of course his old favourite - toast!

Cottage Weekend!

This weekend we took Nate to the cottage for his first real trip to the beach. He had been once before, in October for Thanksgiving, but that doesn't really count as a cottage weekend. My parents and grandparents were up as well, so it was a fun family weekend.
