Merry Christmas!

We survived! This was our first Christmas where Nate kind of understood what was going on. A few surprises (all fantastic) - he had more fun at the "parties" (our families' homes), was very well behaved in church, and was less interested in opening presents than I expected. Here are a few pics from our place on Christmas morning. Many thanks to all those who spoiled him silly this year! He sure is a lucky boy.

Christmas House

Yesterday Nate and I decorated his first Christmas house. Actually, it was more of me decorating and him munching, but it was fun none the less, and Nate loves the finished product! And for those of you who know me well, don't get too excited - it was premade, from a package ready to decorate. But Nate didn't know that :o)

Starbucks

One of Nate's new favourite pastimes on chilly afternoons is to go to Starbucks for a "coffee juice" (although we try to limit our visits to weekly). He gets so excited when we arrive and he now knows where to select his very own mango juice from. He even picked our a Starbucks Christmas ornament, which he points to all the time and says "tiny coffee" (the ornament is a very small ceramic coffee cup). Here are a couple of pics from recent visits.

First Snowfall!

Well, it wasn't much - but we got enough snow for Nate to go out and play in the backyard! He loves snowmen, and can't wait to make one. That and use his new snow blower - oh sorry, wrong guy!
